As part of the project “CSO Dialogue – Platform for Structural Participation in EU Integrations”, on 9 November 2020, consultation meeting was held between civil society organizations and representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Secretariat for European Affairs and the EU Delegation to discuss strategic responses to IPA III, Window I: Rule of Law and Democracy, with focus on thematic priorities: judiciary, anticorruption and fundamental rights.

The meeting was attended by 24 civil society representatives that work on these thematic priorities.

Frosina Tasevska, acting state secretary at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of North Macedonia, informed civil society representatives about ongoing process in respect to programming IPA III and the current stage of documents in the areas of judiciary, anticorruption and fundamental rights. The civil society representatives used this meeting to share their ideas and comments, especially in respect to anticipated indicators and planned interventions.

At the same, the consultation meeting opens opportunities for more meaningful cooperation between civil society organizations and the Ministry of Justice around strategic responses to IPA III and this cooperation will be intensified in the forthcoming period.
