Despite the restrictive measures, EU TACSO 3 project team is working remotely in full capacity, using all available online communication tools to continue implementation of project activities. Moreover, in the coming period, the project team will launch different communication, capacity building, exchange and other activities to help civil society in the Western Balkans and Turkey cope with the situation. These will include: sharing information on available online tools and organizing online trainings on how civil society organizations could use these tools to continue their activities, developing useful manuals and guidelines, implementing some of its planned capacity building activities online, organizing additional trainings and exchanges on emergency and crisis response, and, when needed, facilitating consultations for EU calls by using online tools. In that, the project wants to contribute in helping civil society organizations attain their respective missions and continue to serve their communities, constituents and beneficiaries, people in need, vulnerable groups and others, where the situation for many continues to deteriorate and the presence of civil society organizations is imperative.

At the same time, the project team would like to draw attention to work of civil society organizations and tell their work stories about adapting to the situation and assisting communities, vulnerable groups, homeless people, immigrants, and documenting their challenges and difficulties. In this regard, a call for proposals will soon be announced on the project’s website.
