On 12 December 2019, the project “CSO Dialogue – Platform for Structural Participation in EU Integrations” organized consultations with representatives from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the Ministry of Education and Science and civil society organizations. At the meeting, representatives from line ministries presented relevant strategy documents, i.e. Revised Employment and Social Reform Programme 2022 (ESRP) and Performance Assessment Framework (PAF). It is a matter of documents that should be adopted by the sector working group on education, employment and social policy.
Discussions at the consultation meeting concerned defined objectives and measures and the method to measure success in implementation. At the meeting, civil society organizations were able to make comments and specific recommendations on the content of relevant documents and thereby contribute to their development. Special focus was put on proposed indicators that are defined in line with strategy documents and ongoing reforms at line ministries, and the need for these indicators to be measurable and ensure relevant monitoring of progress made. The possibility to submit comments on strategy documents (PAF and ESRP) is open after this meeting, through the web-platform: dijalogkoneu.mk. This consultation meeting was organized after recommendations made by the project “CSO Dialogue – Platform for Structural Participation in EU Integrations” aimed to intensify dialogue and cooperation between civil society organizations and institutions under the EU accession process.
