An online conference is scheduled to take place on 06.12.2021, starting at 1 p.m., to promote and discuss datasets from the national research survey “Civic Engagement and EU Perspectives: Analysis of Public Opinion Surveys Conducted among Citizens and Civil Society Organizations”.

Data from the previous two cycles of research surveys in 2020 and 2021 will be presented at the event organized as part of the project “CSO Dialogue – Platform for Structural Participation in EU Integrations”, followed by analysis of key findings and establishment of trends emerging from the general population survey and survey questionnaire distributed among civil society organizations.

Introductory speeches at the conference titled “Civic Engagement and Personal Feeling of Contribution to EU Accession on the Rise: Would the Human Capital be Used for a Better Tomorrow?” will be given by Sandra Anastasovska from the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia and Irena Ivanova from the EU Delegation. Survey findings will be presented by Tanja Ivanova and Blazhen Maleski from Reactor – Research in Action. The second part of the conference includes presentations by Goce Kocevski from the Macedonian Young Lawyers Association, Viktor Mitevski from the Association for Research and Analyses – ZMAI and Goran Lazarov from the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia, each focusing on topics such as: civil society organizations and participation mechanisms under conditions of COVID-19 pandemic; grassroot engagement of CSOs as possibility and responsibility to influence decision-making; and civic engagement and EU perspectives.
