The project “CSO Dialogue – Platform for Structural Participation in EU Integrations” produced a video that should improve information among civil society organizations about sector working groups.

The video answers questions such as: what are sector working groups, why they are important, how they are grouped under themes, who are members of sector working how, and how non-member civil society organizations can join work of these groups.

The need for greater knowledge about and monitoring performance of sector working groups arises from the fact that these consultation bodies facilitate more efficient coordination in policy-making and programming EU pre-accession assistance. In 2020, high 81% of citizens believed that our country would benefit from becoming member of the European Union. However, the EU accession process is accompanied by significant political and societal changes. For that purpose, the EU allocates and makes available funds for pre-accession assistance, which anticipate a sector-wide approach in programing and implementation of such funds.
