CHAPTER 2 | FREE MOVEMENT OF WORKERS
chapters / CHAPTER 2 | FREE MOVEMENT OF WORKERS

The acquis under Chapter 2 stipulates that EU citizens from one member-state have the right to work in any other member-state. Workers that migrate to another EU state must be treated in the same way as national workers in regard to working conditions, social and tax advantages. This chapter also includes a coordination mechanism for national provisions on social security for insured persons and members of their families that move to another member-state.
